Pregnancy Loss
&

Bareavement

Blessed are  they that mourn; for they shall be comforted.
Matthew 5:4

What is a Bereavement Doula?

A bereavement doula is uniquely trained to walk alongside women as they navigate the deep grief that follows pregnancy loss. Providing a safe, non-judgmental space, bereavement doulas offer emotional support, guidance, and holistic care throughout this profoundly difficult journey. Their presence serves as a gentle reminder that no woman has to walk through this season of sorrow alone.

While the medical term miscarriage typically refers to the loss of a pregnancy before 20 weeks gestation, within this space, the term encompasses loss at any stage. I honor every experience as both a birth and a death — the life of a child, no matter how brief, is sacred. This perspective gives all women permission to grieve fully and authentically, regardless of when or how their pregnancy ended.

As a Christian woman, I hold the sanctity of life at the heart of my work. My mission is to offer Christ-centered support, walking with you through grief while helping you explore your options for medical care during and after a miscarriage. I am here to provide resources, answer your questions, and hold space for your pain — all with compassion, grace, and faith.

Services Offered

I provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support throughout the following experiences of pregnancy loss:

  • Stillbirth Support – In-person hospital attendance during stillbirth, offering continuous presence, advocacy, and compassionate care during labor, birth, and postpartum.

  • Miscarriage Support – Support beginning from the moment you become aware of your loss and continuing through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery — whether at home or in a medical setting.

  • D&C Procedure Support – Accompaniment and support for dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures only when they are medically necessary following a confirmed natural miscarriage.

  • Postpartum Support – Continued emotional and spiritual care after loss, including help processing your experience, navigating grief, and honoring your baby's life.

Please Note: As a Christian, I believe all life is sacred and begins at conception. Because of this, I do not attend or support abortion procedures, including elective abortions and terminations for medical reasons (TMFR).
